Botanical Bundle Dyeing Workshop

Join us for this nature-inspired workshop at The Honesdale Loft and immerse yourself in the art of botanical dyeing with Katie Calcaterra, the creative mind behind Big Love Botanicals. All essential supplies and an array of plant materials are included to design and dye your one-of-a-kind cotton bandana.

Explore extracting vibrant hues from everyday kitchen scraps like avocado pits, coffee grounds, onion skins, and an array of flowers. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn two dye techniques: the bundle & steam method and immersion dyeing. You'll take home a packet of flower seeds to kickstart your dye garden and an informational guide allowing you to continue your botanical dyeing journey after the workshop ends.

• Tickets are $45 (early bird special $40 until March 20th)
• Thursday, April 4th, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
• Your creation will be wet when finished, please bring a bag to take it home in 
• Ages 12+

• No elevator, this is NOT accessible for mobility issues
• We will be sitting on stools so please consider bringing a folding chair if not having a chair back will be uncomfortable for you.
